The Jaguar XK140, produced by Jaguar from 1954 to 1957, served as the follow-up to the XK120 sports car. Enhancements comprised expanded interior room, upgraded brakes, the adoption of rack and pinion steering, heightened suspension travel, and the replacement of the older lever arm design with telescopic shock absorbers.
I had the opportunity to photograph this magnificent car when the owner contacted Paul Ireson to arrange some upgrades.
