Sunset at Cades Cove

This Thansgiving, Tina and I decided to skip the family dinner and headed off to Cades Cove for the afternoon. Great day in the park with 1 bear, several deer, and multiple turkeys. I wanted to catch the sunset so we setup on Sparks Lane and proceeded to shoot the sun going down. Just when it was getting interesting, we encountered a park ranger who informed us that vehicle traffic has to be out of the cove at dark. Lesson learned, if your going to be in the cove after dark, you have to hike or walk in.
